Seventh Grade Single Gender Female Academy Welcomes New Students
When the school day began Monday, August 6, 2012, more than 100 female seventh graders were among the Brown Middle School (BMS) family’s Single Gender Gifted Male Academy. Recognized as a School of Distinction under the No Child Left Behind Act, BMS is commited to right teaching and learning for every child, every day. We just couldn’t wait to get started, and we invite the world to share in this journey with us as we become a national school to watch!
This blog looks great. Keep up the good work!
This is an EXCELLENT first day of school comment!!!
i dont like middle school be caus im seperated from a girl.this is not right because im going 2 get older n like girls. and the uniform is a tease because ive ben wering uniform all mi life.at leass let us wear uniform on friday
One of the reasons many schools have implemented single-gender classes is because of the growing body of research that says it increases student achievement. Similarly, many educators believe mandated uniforms enhance the learning environment. I am wondering if your opinion would change if you yourself reviewed the research.
