I think television and video games have impacted reading proficiency because children don’t read a lot all they do is come home, rush and do their homework, then go watch tv. It has impacted lilte kids to because their parents let them come home a watch cartoons all night that’s why they can’t read when they get to 6th grade. They have replced bedtime stories because some parents don’t read to their litte children they just turn the light off and tell them to go to sleep. Video games has a huge impact on reading proficiency because on the weekends or week days children just play their video games all day. Some kids don’t even take 15 minutes to even pick up a book and read. Some kids say reading is boring their parents should say reading is fundimental .
