What about Brown??????
Alexis, we (Brown) are “hosting” the page, so I wanted to thank Sutton for joining the dialogue which is allowing us to extend our learning community. That said, I greatly appreciate how my J. E. Brown Middle School students are engaging in this learning opportunity π
I think what our two schools are doing is wonderful because it allows children to teach and help other students. Also it helps us reach out to new people and make new friends. This helps students learn from other people.
Skylar, your response just made my day! I also appreciate what our two schools are doing. I am thinking we could connect visually soon, as well, in Google Hangouts or Skype. I am going to talk with Ms. Edwards about it soon. You and I are on the same page; no pun intended π
I think that is cool to blog with students in other schools because sometimes we can learn from other people blogging.
When blogging with others as well as students at other schools, it can help us communicate and understand other people’s opinions.
I agree with you all and that is why I am passionately trying to get computers or laptops for our classroom. Having the ten laptops in the cart each Wednesday is inadequate for quality and quantity of writing the Common Core demands and for the online community and collaboration we are trying to build.
