“We don’t need another hero” – or do we?

Occasionally, we hear the word “hero” used to describe someone because of some act that he or she has undertaken. In literature and film, heroes and heroines are frequently the compelling elements that captivate us as readers. What characterizes a hero in your mind? Who are the heroes in our society and in your life? Be specific.

We are the hero because we fight for whats right.
We don’t have to be heros because we have heros like police, fireman, nurses,&doctor.

To me, what makes a hero is some one that is known for something, for a good reason. I know that Barack Obama is a hero in society. For me, my heroes are my mom and my dad. They are the reason that I am even in this world.

In the word hero in my mind mean that someone help our people in society. The hero in our society is doctors, teachers, community workers, polices, and parents. They help us in the world. The hero in my life is my whole family, because they help me what I need to be today.

What characterizes a hero to me is a person that can be brave, confident, smart, helpful, and caring. I say this because to me if you have all of these characteristics you can be brave enough to stand up for yourself, confident enough to say I can do it, smart enough to know what to do, helpful enough to help me if something’s wrong, and caring enough to help me. The heroines in my society are my teachers, my family, and I. My family is one of my heroes in my society because she protects me in my life. My teachers are another one of my heroes because they help me learn so I can get my education and graduate from college and for a better future. The last person is I because if I am not a hero to myself I will not be able to learn. Also I will not be able for me to focus on my future.
