“Restriction of free thought and free speech is the most dangerous of all subversions. It is the one un-American act that could most easily defeat us? – Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas

Do you agree or disagree with Justice Douglas’ claim? Explain why or why not. How does this quote relate to books that are banned or challenged in our country?

My response to the quote is that I do not agree because it was made for us to speak our mind. I don’t see how it could be dangerous. The only way I see is if as dangerous is if people don’t accepted the way we are and that they don’t want us to be successful.

i dont agree because we need toe be able to speak mind and be able to read the books we want to read and not get our books taking by teaches. this is a discrace. We DEMAND the freedom to read own
    book. Thats my comment

I am wondering if you can revise this, so that it demonstrates what you know about words and sentences. What do you think?

I agree with this ,because if people are not able to write about what they want so people are basically writing about the same thing
