Principal’s Crooms’ Message: Expectations, Encouragement, and Excitement
One of the most essential components in the success of a learning community is building a culture of high expectations of all of the stakeholders. Our new principal, Mrs. Tiaunna Crooms, is encouraging that and more. The change is visible; the energy is palpable. What are you going to do as a student to make this the best year of learning? How can you enusre that you, your classmates, and teachers are the most productive each day? What expectations do you have of yourself and of the staff?
I think that if I where a principle I would say the same thing I was that I want the students of my school to do their best and nothing less.
I concur, Darlene. Our principal’s statement is appropriate and powerful.
Words that have a similar sound as other words can be confusing. I’m wondering if there are any homophones in your response?
I think this speech was good because brown middle school was bad last year and this year we have a strict principal name Mrs. Crooms who wants us to be successful because she knows that we can do whatever we want ig we put our minds to it
Like you, I am very encouraged by her leadership. She is a “warm demander”: policy oriented, yet compassionate. Having someone who believes in you allows you to feel valued, Miracle. Thanks for the post!
Is it possible for you to review your post and figure out what needs to be edited? (Hint: proper nouns; run-on sentences; spelling)
I like the principal’s message. It made me feel confident about myself, and it made me feel like I can do anything if I put success with it. This year at Brown Middle School, I think I will focus hard so that I can be on that extra mile.
Katrina, I love that: “be on that extra mile”.
This is her first year and she is doing great. I understand your expectations and i will Definitely follow them. We love you Mrs.Croon.
